The Miami Valley’s newest credit union has been introduced: MyUSA Credit Union. Formed through a partnership between Middletown area MidUSA Credit Union and Kettering-based Heartland Federal Credit Union, the newly rebranded MyUSA Credit Union will have nine local branches spanning the Miami Valley.

When entering your password and/or security question to access the new Online Banking, you may encounter a message. Please note: this does not mean that your account or password have been compromised. This message is also not originating from MyUSA CU’s Online Banking. Instead, it is originating from Chrome, as the browser now features built in functionality where it can intercept password fields and compare them against lists of compromised passwords from the dark web. For more information visit this help page from our data processor

While we would love for you to have a checking account with MyUSA CU, we understand sometimes our members have accounts at other financial institutions. One simple method to make your loan payment would be to click the “Make a Loan Payment” button at the top of our website. This takes you to an online loan payment portal where you can make a one-time or recurring payment. There is a charge to use this service.

Account to Account (A2A) provides you the ability to transfer funds to/from other financial institutions. Currently, A2A is not available within online banking, but you are able to transfer these funds within the mobile app. We hope to have the problem resolved soon so that you can perform these transactions in online banking as well. If you would like to set up a financial institution for A2A, please log in to online banking and complete the secure, online form.

If you would like to transfer money to an account that you are not a joint owner of, please contact us 800-633-8905 to create this transfer ability.

Your new due date will be the 28th of the month.

You should have received a new Visa Credit Card with a new card number mid to late August. You can activate this new card and use it immediately. Your current HFCU card will no longer work. Now, all card holders will be able to see their account history within Online / Mobile Banking. ScoreCard Rewards will remain the same. If you have automatic payments set up on your credit card please be sure to update your card number and information with the merchant.

Simply do an app update on your phone and the MyUSA Credit Union logo will appear.

Yes. Effective September 1, you will need to log in with your updated 9-digit account number as your username and the last 4 digits of the primary member’s Social Security Number as your temporary password. You can then reset your username and password to something of your choice. All accounts, automatic transfers and payments currently set up will remain. You will need to delete your existing Mobile Banking App and download the MyUSA Credit Union Mobile Banking App from your app store.

The first time you log in to CU Talk, you will need to enter 235 as the PIN.

Yes. Legacy Heartland FCU member/account numbers will be updated to 9 digits with a leading 1 and 0’s. Examples:

current member 1234 will become 100012345
current number 890 will become 100000890

No changes to legacy MidUSA CU member/account numbers.

No, there is no need to alert your company, or any other direct deposit payment source; your direct deposit will continue to be processed as it is now. When setting up new automatic deposits please use your new account number and routing number.

No. Everything will stay the same. The routing number and account numbers will be automatically updated to the new routing and account number for any current automatic withdrawals. When setting up new automatic payments please use your new account number and routing number.

Yes! You may continue using your existing debit card. When it expires, or you request a new card, it will say MyUSA Credit Union at that time. Your existing pin will remain the same.

Yes! You may continue to use your existing checks until they run out. When you reorder, be sure to reorder with your MyUSA Credit Union account information.

Yes! The credit union will remain 100% owned by you, the member.

Yes! They are remaining open.

Rates and fees do fluctuate, as they adjust in response to market conditions. Visit our rates page for up-to-date rates.
